Alannah McPherson & Lyric Tsuji

Head Coaches - White Team

Alannah and Lyric have been the head coaches of White Team since 2024.

Alannah and Lyric competed together on SFU Cheer’s Red Team in Collegiate Level 7 during their undergraduate degrees.

Alannah is certified to coach Level 4 by BC Sport Cheer and also has NCCP certifications in artistic and trampoline gymnastics. She holds a BA and a MA in Criminology.

Lyric is certified to coach Level 4 by BC Sport Cheer. Lyric is currently an athlete on Vancouver All Stars’ Black Ice (IOCNT7), with whom she placed fourth at the Cheerleading Worlds in 2025. Lyric is also a professional dancer with the Compaigni V’ni Dansi.

White Team is further supported by six additional coaches: Alyssa Quan, Briana Doherty, Cameron Hu, Jaden Bullock, Michelle Cheung, and Sam Wong.

Kevin Morse

Head Coach - Red Team

Kevin coached the White team from 2013-2018 and started coaching Red team in 2018.

Kevin was a Red team athlete from 2007 - 2013 and was President of the club from 2010 - 2013. Before cheering at SFU he competed on Dr. Charles Best Senior Coed from 2005 - 2007. 

Kevin is USASF Level 5 certified and also has NCCP Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline certification. He holds a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Physics.
