Clubs Day Spring 2024

We will be in Seywell Hall for Clubs Day on January 16th and 17th from 11:00am - 3:30pm. Come and visit us if you’re interested in joining and we can answer any questions you may have!

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming part of SFU’s co-ed collegiate cheerleading team? Come join our in-person fall tryouts on September 13th, 2023 in the SFU Burnaby Central Gym East. Check-in will start at 7:00pm and the tryouts will begin at 7:30pm. You can expect tryouts to end at 10:00pm. If you are feeling sick, please email sfucheerleading@gmail.com to arrange another try-out date. Please fill out this registration form prior to coming:

Tryouts will include physical fitness and ability testing with some time to showcase any cheerleading or gymnastics skills. However, no experience is required! Come prepared by wearing proper gym attire, athletic shoes and a water bottle. Successful tryout candidates should be prepared for a second tryout on Sunday, September 17th at 7:30pm. Throughout the semester, the team practices two days per week; typically Wednesdays and Sunday evenings. All athletes are expected to attend all practices.

Fall 2023 Stunt With SFU

We are holding our fall Stunt with SFU event on September 10th, 2023 from 8:30pm-10:00pm. It will be located at G-Force Gym in Port Coquitlam and is $10 at the door. Come out and stunt with SFUs collegiate co-ed cheer team! SFU Cheer invites everyone who is 15+ that wants the opportunity to learn new skills, meet our team, and/or prepare for fall tryouts! No experience is necessary, just be ready to try new things and have fun!

Car Wash Fundraiser 2023

We will be hosting a car wash on Sunday, July 23rd to fundraise for our cheer camp! It will be at the Capilano Volkswagen (1151 Marine Dr, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1T1) from 12:00pm-4:00pm. The car wash will be by donation. We appreciate all the support and can’t wait to see you there!
